Active Methodologies

Orientation on the formation of transversal competency

Academia.Holtec has determined to follow the qualification framework for Mining Industry 4.0, emanated from the Chilean Mining Skills Council (CCM).
However, regardless of the qualification level with which students enter, our use of active methodologies is oriented at developing at least three competencies we consider fundamental:

Per the CCM Mining Industry 4.0 Qualification Framework, we distinguish the following five qualification levels:

  • Level 1: Initial Apprenticeship
  • Level 2: Maintenance Assistant, Basic Operator
  • Level 3: Advanced Maintainers and Operators
  • Level 4: Maintainers and Specialist Operators
  • Level 5: Seniors and Managers

Regardless of the qualification level with which a student enters, we use active methodologies to develop at least three competencies that we consider fundamental, regardless of the subject to be taught:
